Just a quick update on the emissor pipe installation for the upgraded sewer treatment plant. The work has begun connecting the pipes and attaching the concrete weights to keep the pipe from coming to the surface. Interesting to watch. Photos by Capas Sayulita and Ed Dorsett.
Any new updates on phase 2? I have a wedding coming up May 17th week and a little nervous that it won't be completed or the norovirus has gotten to out of control. :(
ReplyDeleteHopefully cleaning the streets with chlorine has helped!
Thank you,
Worried Bride
Congratulations BTW. I bet you are nervous. The cleaned streets look great and Semana Santa is next then hopefully there will be a few less people in town which should help the Noro situation we hope. I am sure that if you are using a wedding planner they are concerned as well. Rumor has it that the emissor pipe has been completed but they are waiting for the final operation tests to be completed with water testing before anything is made public or the pipe is anchored to the sea bed. For now the pipe sits in the bay like some kind of serpent sea monster. Again, just talk around town but when the plant is 100% with the new emissor pipe working as designed I am sure there will be a BIG announcement.
