This photo explains exactly why I want to move to Sayulita a.s.a.p. I came across your blog through the sayulita classified forum ads, and must say I've been dying to start my life there and live the city behind; and it's been really hard for me to find a job from where I am, I would at least like to have something to rely on once I get there, do you have any tips? would it be easy to find a job once I get there? I've got a bachelor degree in Marketing, I would at least try to look for an administration-related job in a hotel or something. thanks, best regards, ivette from Baja California
Easy to find a job in your field in Sayulita? I honestly don't know. We had our plan before we arrived and it is working for us. My wife works in the States and I work here and have the appropriate visa to do so. Most of the folks we know work via the internet. I would suggest getting down here with some savings, get to know some people and start asking around. It can't hurt to market yourself on SLIFE either. Someone may be happy to have someone of your skills aboard and others may only want visa legit/documented and/or Spanish language capable locals. Good luck.
